Family Nutrition privacy policy

In short: Family Nutrition collects nothing. It has no internet access, no account and no analytics. What you enter stays on your phone, or in a place you choose.
This policy covers the Family Nutrition app for Android, published by Willsomic LLC ("we").
What the app stores
The app stores what you enter: the names you give family members, their age groups, the foods and servings you log for each day, and any changes you make to the food list or daily amounts. It also remembers a few settings, such as which screen you last used.
This data is kept in one file. By default it is in the app's own storage on your phone. If you choose another place, such as a folder, an SD card or a cloud drive folder, the app saves the file there instead.
What we collect
Nothing. The app has no internet permission, so it cannot send your data anywhere. We have no servers that receive it, and the app has no ads, analytics, crash reporting or tracking of any kind. We never see your data.
Where your data can go, at your choice
- A place you choose: if you keep the data file in a cloud drive folder (for example Google Drive), that service stores it under its own privacy policy.
- Export: the app writes an export file only when you ask, to the place you pick. What happens to it after that, such as sharing it, is up to you.
- Your phone's backup: if you have turned on backup on your phone, Android may include the app's data in your phone's backup to your own Google account. This is handled by Android and Google, not by us. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions. When you choose where to keep your data or a file to import, Android's own file picker gives the app access to that one file only.
Purchases
If you buy the app on Google Play, Google handles the purchase under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive only the information Google gives app sellers, such as sales totals, not your health or food data.
Children
The app is meant to be used by adults, who may record entries for children in their family. Those entries stay on the device or in the place the adult chooses, like all other data in the app. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
You can delete a family member, an entry or a food in the app. Uninstalling the app removes the data kept in its own storage. A data file you saved elsewhere, and any exports, stay where you put them until you delete them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If a change ever allows data to leave your phone in a new way, we will say so in the app before it takes effect.
